Claire Melebeck, PT, DPT
Claire is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from LSU in Baton Rouge. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. She is a manual physical therapist specializing in the treatment of patients with neuro-musculoskeletal pain syndromes. Her primary areas of interest are pain pathology, headache and TMJ management, and treatment of complex orthopedic conditions. Claire has also been trained in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Approach. She is trained in Myofascial 1 and Fascial-Pelvis.
Kristie Harris Culpepper, PT, DPT, MTC
Kristie is a native of Baton Rouge and attended LSU, graduating in Psychology. She attended University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, graduating in Physical Therapy in January of 2000. She went on to complete her Manual Therapy Certification in August of 2003, and a doctorate of Physical Therapy in April of 2005.
Marieke Crawford, PT, MOMT
Marieke is a native of the Netherlands where she attended Hogeschool Enschede, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. She has worked as a PT in the United States since March of 1992. She went on to attain a Masters Degree of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1997, and has worked as a clinical instructor at the Ola Grimbsy Institute where she taught clinical certification courses. In March, 2019, Marieke attended training at the USTA training center in Orlando, FL. She is now a RacquetFit Certified Expert.
Andrew Groome, PT, Cert. MDT
Andrew is a native of England and graduated from England’s Pinderfields Physical Therapy School in 1995. He is one of only two therapists in Baton Rouge who is certified in the world-renowned McKenzie Spine Treatment Method. He is currently pursuing an additional certification in Manual Therapy. He also lectures regularly at OLOL PTA College.
Elke Harrison, LMT, Licensed Esthetician
Elke is a graduate of Deutsche Angestellten Akademie in Bonn Germany in 1995, receiving a degree in Physical Therapy. She completed massage therapy school in 2007 at the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy in Lake Charles, LA, and is also a licensed esthetician. Elke became a certified Schroth Best Practice Therapist in 2016 at Schroth Best Practice Academy in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Elke has also been trained in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Approach. Her extensive training includes MFR 1 and 2, MF Unwinding, MF Advanced Unwinding, Cervical-Thoracic, MF Rebounding, Fascial-Pelvis and Skill Enhancement.
Trevor was born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge. In 2011 he graduated as an LMT from Moore Career College. Trevor has also been trained in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Approach. He has the MFR 1 training.
Molli was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Baton Rouge to complete her 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certificate. She received her certificate through Alicia Willimet at Louisiana Yoga School here in Baton Rouge. Molli graduated the 200 Hour program in May 2019 and has been involved with Yoga for over 10 years.
Dr. Lisa Langlois, is a native of Germany, and holds a PhD in the Natural Sciences (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), from the University of Bonn, Germany, with a minor in Sinology (the study of China, primarily through language, literature, and history), and a doctorate (D.Ms.) in Metaphysical Sciences from the University of Metaphysical Sciences, CA, where her focus has been Reiki research. She is a Reiki Master as well as a part time researcher in the area of material science, and continues alternative studies and work in energy medicine techniques and meditation.
Dr, Lisa's core motivation is to contribute to the world by using her knowledge and skills, with a goal for healing and understanding, helping one person at a time to find their inner harmony. Lisa is now bringing her diverse healing modalities and unique background to Elevate, offering private 45-minute Reiki sessions.
